- Accumulator
- A single bet that combines two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- A spread betting system that eliminates the draw by giving a handicap to each team, expressed in fractions or whole numbers.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money a bettor sets aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- An online tool that lets you combine multiple markets from a single match into one wager.
- Cash Out
- A feature allowing you to settle a bet early, locking in a profit or minimizing a loss before the event ends.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes of a match, increasing your chance of winning.
- Draw No Bet
- A wager where you get your stake back if the match ends in a draw, otherwise you win if your chosen team wins.
- Each Way
- A bet split into a win part and a place part, paying out if the selection wins or finishes in a specified place.
- Hedge
- Placing a bet on the opposite outcome to an existing wager, reducing risk or securing a guaranteed profit.
- In-Play
- Betting on a game after it has started, with odds that update as the action unfolds.
- Juice
- The commission or fee a bookmaker adds to the odds, also called "vig", which ensures the house edge.
- Kelly Criterion
- A mathematical formula used to determine the optimal size of a bet based on perceived edge.
- KYC
- Know Your Customer, a mandatory identity verification process to prevent fraud and comply with regulations.
- Line
- The set of odds or point spread a bookmaker offers for a particular betting market.
- Lock
- Slang for a bet that is considered almost certain to win.
- Margin
- The built-in advantage a bookmaker has in a market, expressed as a percentage, which reflects the juice.
- Odds
- The numerical expression of the likelihood of an outcome, determining how much you can win relative to your stake.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether a specific statistic, such as total goals, will be higher or lower than a set value.
- Parlay
- A single wager that links multiple selections; all must win for a payout, offering higher odds than individual bets.
- Spread
- The range of possible values set by a bookmaker for a statistic, used in point-spread betting to balance odds.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a bet.
- Steam
- Rapid movement of the line caused by heavy betting action, often indicating sharp money.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, suggesting an edge.
- Void Bet
- A bet that is cancelled, with the stake returned to the bettor, usually due to a match being postponed or a rule breach.
- Wagering Requirement
- The condition that you must bet a certain amount before bonus funds can be withdrawn.
